The Asian Monosolenium tenerum is a visually striking liverwort that reaches a modest height of 2-5 cm.

Resembling Riccia, this plant thrives at the bottom of the aquarium, creating captivating cushion-like formations.

Due to its delicate nature, it is best to secure Monosolenium to stones using fishing line or position it in small clumps among other aquatic flora such as Eleocharis to prevent it from breaking apart easily.

Once Monosolenium has taken root, it proves to be exceptionally low-maintenance. It is often mistakenly identified as Pellia due to its similar appearance.
