ADA Rotala ceylon
Rotala rotundifolia 'Ceylon' originates from Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon) and has been a popular choice in aquascaping since its introduction. This particular variety is often referred to as R. sp. 'Pink'
The leaves are a delicate light green with a pinkish hue on their underside. When exposed to high light conditions, the tips of the shoots can develop soft reddish tones.
How to use Rotala rotundifolia 'Ceylon'
It makes a fantastic addition to the midground or background of an aquarium, where it can form a lush, bushy presence. It makes a nice break from typical green stems and adds a nice light fresh feel.

Rotala rotundifolia 'Ceylon' is just as easy to care for as its more common counterpart and is considered a medium difficulty, moderate lighting and CO2 will certainly encourage the best growth, as will providing essential nutrients.
