ADA Lagenandra meeboldii 'red'
This plant originates from India and bears a striking resemblance to medium-sized, broad-leaved Cryptocorynes. Much like Cryptocorynes, it thrives in aquatic environments, but it does require adequate light to truly bring out its vibrant colours
How to use
Its leaves typically measure between 4-8 cm in width and 6-12 cm in length, giving the plant a relatively broad appearance when fully mature, it makes a good focal point in the aquarium. It should be planted in a nutrient rich substate, however it has been seen used as an epiphyte, water column fertilisation helps with its nutrient demand.
Plant Maintenance
For optimal coloration and growth, it's important to provide sufficient lighting, as lower light conditions may result in less vibrant colours. This plant's unique beauty and adaptability make it a rather unique plant choice.
