ADA Vesicularia montagnei
Native to Brazil this is a small moss, reaching only 1-3 cm in height. Its name derives from its branching pattern; unlike the more common Java moss, Vesicularia montagnei moss features side branches that create a fir tree-like appearance.
How to use Vesicularia montagnei
This moss is more challenging to cultivate than Java moss and exhibits a slower growth rate. It easily adheres to rocks and driftwood by either gluing or tieing it to hardscape.

To maintain an attractive form, it requires trimming as it spreads, this will keep it compact and tidy.
Emersed Growth
Vesicularia montagnei can easily be grown emersed and it very easy to grow in terrarium and paludarium type setups.
