ADA Cryptocoryne spiralis red
Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red' is a vibrant aquarium plant with striking red hues and long oval shaped leaves. Native to India, it thrives in various water conditions and adapts well to both novice and experienced aquarists.
Unlike Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger', which features brownish tiger stripe markings along the leaf, Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red' has more plain burgundy-red leaves with a central lime green stripe.

This cryptocoryne is perfect for mid-ground or background placement, when it reaches the surface it will drape over a create a curtain effect.
Plant Maintenance
While it can tolerate low light, it flourishes under moderate to high lighting, with enhanced colour and growth. For optimal growth, a nutrient-rich substrate and CO2 supplementation are recommended.
You can pinch off damaged or long leaves at the base of the plant. Using root tabs underneath the plant can be beneficial as crypts feed heavily from their roots and this species can grow quite large.
