Aquaflora Bucephalandra red

Bucephalandra plants bear a striking resemblance to Anubias and should be cared for in a similar manner. These fascinating aquatic plants typically grow epiphytically, thriving in or around water. 

The Bucephalandra sp. 'Red' variety particularly excels in low light environments, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists alike. Its leaves are characterized by a rich, dark green hue that can shift to a leathery red tone, adding a vibrant touch to any aquatic setup. 

As the leaves develop, they often showcase numerous delicate white dots and may even exhibit a subtle metallic blue sheen on their submerged surfaces, enhancing their visual appeal. Individually, the leaves measure about 2 to 4 centimeters in width and 4 to 6 centimeters in length, typically featuring charming wavy edges that further contribute to the plant's allure.
