ADA Hemianthus glomeratum (pearl weed)
Hemianthus glomeratum, also known as 'pearl weed,' is a popular classic aquarium plant. It stays green and can spread quickly; with regular trimming, it can form a dense bush, making it easy to shape.
How to use Hemianthus glomeratum
Use pearl weed in the midground area of your aquascape, or let it grow wild in the background. This is another plant we have used in Dutch styles aquascapes before and trimming into ball like shapes.
Plant Maintenance
This plant can handle heavy trimming; just be careful not to overdo it, making sure you stop before it turns yellowish at the undergrowth.

When grown emersed it forms a more compact and cushion like growth
