Cryptocoryne axelrodi a undemanding plant from Sri Lanka, closely related to Cryptocoryne wendtii and beckettii. Cryptocoryne axelrodi develops narrow leaves with a green to dark brown coloration, with a marbled pattern. This crypt can handle lower light conditions but will do best under medium light with a nutrient rich aquarium soil.

Use in low-mid lighting areas, in the midground of your aquarium. plant in larger portions or gently tease into smaller portions and plant in various locations to add darker coloured areas.
