How to use Red Tiger Lotus

It is suitable for larger aquariums in the background but can also be kept in the fore-midground and kept short by pruning older growth to keep it more compact.

Lotus can be a greedy plant and therefore providing high nutritional substrate is important with root tabbing long term. High lighting will encourage to lotus leaves to stay lower and more compact where lower lighting conditions will entice it to growth closer to the water surface
