ADA Hydrocotyle tripartita
Hydrocotyle tripartita (Hydrocotyle sp. "Japan") is a popular aquarium plant native to Southeast Asia, known for its fast, compact growth and vibrant green leaves which have a clover like appearance.
How to use Hydrocotyle tripartita
Growing to a height of 5-10 cm, it can be used to from a carpet on the aquarium substrate. It must be kept trimmed in order to keep it low to the substrate, otherwise it does tend to grow upwards and in a wild and untamed manner.

This plant thrives in brighter light, promoting a thick, healthy carpet. Ideal for creating a rich, green base in your aquascape. Hydrocotyle tripartita is perfect for both beginners and experienced aquarists and under optimal conditions, only really requires trimming of untidy stems.
Emersed Growth
This plant can be grown emersed and will, if left; grow up and out of the water when it breaks the surface, it keeps a similar appearance both in and out of water.
